We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Commercial and Industrial Engineer Intern to join our team. This internship opportunity will provide hands-on experience in the renewable energy industry, focusing on commercial and industrial solar projects. The intern will work closely with our experienced team members to support technical site visits, solar design reviews, customer advocacy, proposal creation, project management, and proactive outreach initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Shadow experienced team members during technical site visits, gaining insights into customer energy needs and requirements.
2. Assist in providing comprehensive information about SOLS Energy’s equipment and solar systems to B2B customers, under the guidance of senior staff.
3. Support the preparation and review of designs for customer solar installations, ensuring they meet technical specifications and customer expectations.
4. Actively participate in customer advocacy efforts, leveraging insights and knowledge to enhance our solar offerings and address client needs.
5. Assist in delivering SOLS Energy’s value propositions during customer interactions, under the supervision of senior team members.
6. Collaborate with team members to develop comprehensive solar proposals, project timelines, and necessary documentation for commercial and SME solar projects.
7. Support project management efforts by assisting in managing commercial deals from initiation to completion, working with various departments to ensure project fulfillment.
8. Engage in proactive outreach initiatives, including cold calling through phone, email, and in-person interactions, to ensure excellent after-sales service and support.
