Job Description

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Mass Communication (Journalism) / Multimedia or equivalent.
  • Must have at least 1-3 years of experience writing (and editing) digital content.
  • Fresh graduates are also welcome.
  • Must be up-to-date with the latest and trending news locally and internationally
  • Must be an active user of Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok and Facebook
  • Quick thinker, creative, great story teller, understands local pop culture
  • You should have a background in writing, or you could just be witty and good with words
  • Always overflowing with one-of-a-kind ideas!
  • Required language (s):
  • Bahasa Malaysia
  • English will be an extra advantage
  • Willing to work on weekends.
  • Excellent in stress management.
  • Full Time/ Internship

Responsibilities:

  • You role is to write about Malaysian viral issue and local entertainment news
  • Identify social media trends and create content based on those trends, with a local twist
  • Come up with really clickable headlines and brainstorm ideas with other writers
  • Ideate and execute on content growth hacks to increase Kisah Dunia readership
