Job Description

1. Receives and records new inventory as it arrives; inspects and stores it in accordance with company policy.
2. Physically inventoried items, compare the results to computerized inventories and adjust any differences.
3. As needed, replenish stock and inventory.
4. Helps ensure that all stock is stored in the right locations throughout the warehouse.
5. Transfers stock to lorries in a timely and scheduled manner for delivery.
6. Schedules material transfers to and from the warehouse; coordinates inventory transfers between departments.
7. Cooperates with other departments to develop strategic plans and procedures to improve warehouse efficiency.
8. Monitors expenditures and, if necessary, take corrective action.
9. Ensures that operating guidelines and safety policies are followed.
10. Resolves common equipment problems.
11. Other related duties may be assigned.
