Job description

• To design and develop embedded and IOT applications, UI/UX and software plugins for smart vending & automated retail
• To design and implement software of embedded devices and systems
• To design, develop, code, test and debug system software
• To analyze and enhance efficiency, scalability, and stability of the system resources
• To perform research on new technology and upcoming trend
• To provide consultancy and next-level support to the global customers

Pre-requisites

• Candidate who are pursuing at least a Degree / Advanced Diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science / Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication, Internet & Multimedia Computing or equivalent
• Effective communication skills in BOTH English and Mandarin (compulsory) in both verbal and written is a MUST to be able to support China customers
• Strong programming skill in C++, Java or Python
• Practical knowledge in embedded, IOT and robotic development is most preferable.
• Experience in developing embedded systems as well as troubleshooting problems in them.
• Practical knowledge in embedded development and electrical/electronics are most preferable.
• Knowledge in IOT architecture is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Node.js frameworks such as Express, Socket.IO is added advantage.
• Practical knowledge in MVC is an advantage.
• Experience in Linux / Embedded OS / Android is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in SQL-based relational database and SQLite is preferable.
• An analytical mind in addition to a problem-solving attitude.
• Passionate and enthusiastic about software engineering and new technology.
