Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and creative person to join our team

You will play an important role in:-

  • Lead tooling design and concept reviews at all key stages of tool design & development
  • Manage tooling budgets for new and replacement tooling projects
  • Create and manage tooling design standard and provide design guidance to suppliers
  • Provide leadership on inspection requirements and techniques as well as mold modifications activity
  • Production of samples and prototypes
  • Problem-solving of tooling-related issues along with manufacturing team members
  • Influence product design to ensure manufacturability in our process
  • Design or manage design of new or existing tooling to optimize productivity and cost effectiveness
  • Manage communication & documentation of all CAD and inspection data with tooling suppliers
  • Write Purchase requisitions for the selected vendors
  • Manage new tooling delivery, inspection & approval process as per schedule
  • Follow up internal or external tooling rectification.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:-

  • Diploma/ Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Tool and Die or equivalent)
  • Good problem-solving ability
  • Able to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to model 3D mold surfaces for tooling
  • Ability to perform tolerance stack up analysis and full understanding of GD&T
  • Knowledge in Solidworks is required
